Are you enjoying any signs of Spring yet?  Here the robins are back, the snow cover is disappearing, there is birdsong in the morning, and the days are getting noticeably longer.  We have had a handful of days warm enough to get outside and start a bit of garden work.  Which all means I better get some spring cleaning done, and the season of Lent seems the perfect time for that.  I spent the good part of a day recently cleaning and organizing the pantry and laundry room, so I took some photos to remind myself of how it looks when clean and organized and for anyone who might want a tour.

The large cabinet on the left, which was found at a local antique shop and is from Eastern Europe, holds all our pantry supplies.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

I absolutely LOVE your home! Could we see bits of the outside? Is it built like an old house, too?
So glad you’re back blogging!

Your decorating is so beautiful! It makes me look around my rooms and think about how I can incorporate some of your ideas. Love to see a new post from you.

Oh what a feast for my eyes! I have been thinking about you lately and missing your Blog, so I thought I would look online at your past Blog name and low and behold, here you are! I thought that I had signed up when you let us know of the change of name, but somehow I never received any new postings. So glad to see you are still here!!
Any way.... lovely photos of your Pantry and to hear the story behind the items you've made, thrifted, husband helped to build, family pieces - It's all a wonderful tale to make your home cozy.
We are actually in the process of moving from PA back to our home State of Ohio. Our son is even moving from Florida to go back to Ohio! We'll all be together again as a family. Like you said in another post, you downsized, but then your family grew! Nice to see how you have incorporated the new additions into your home.
Thank you for sharing.

I enjoy seeing how you place your plants and art work in your décor.

Hi Deb! I would love some input from you! I love your wood counters. We are redoing our kitchen (on a small budget) and I wondered if you could tell me if you like the wood counters? Do they stain or scratch easily? Any advice would be awesome! Thank you!!
